Chapter X

Heya! Woah atlast this whole quest is coming to an end. I do hope you love the last piece!!

"Ah, might I suggest something?!" Riu screeches with excitement.

"You wouldn't stop even if I said otherwise. Go on."

"Come attend the presentation. I could easily get you free passes."

"Right, because attending a show of old women shoving rude words down gentlemen's asses is all I have in mind."

"Shut up and come along. You obviously don't have anything better to do. Considering the fact you could spend a bunch of hours of with your pretty long lost friend."

"When does it start?"

"Around ten. But we have to be there in another hour."

"Are you going to go like a rooster hen to a well bred place?"

Vidith looks at her with mocking disgust.

"It's a huge place. I will ask the costume designer for spares. So common hurry."

"Okay, but around two in the afternoon I have to take a walk to someplace else. I have got a beautiful wife to pick up. I will probably be back in an hour." he says.

"That's chill. Maybe I get to meet her?" Riu demands with sparkling eyes.

"It's the least I could do to compensate."

"Woah, you are kind to me. Now I am scared" Riu cups her mouth like a bollywood actress.

"Shut that hole and show me the way, goon."

"This is the cranky old man I know."

They ride off with Riu giding him through the city whilst they savour the beauty.  After ten minutes or so, Vidith feels familiar with the route. Then just decides to ask, "Wait a minute, Where do you want to go?"

"Rajabai Clocktower. Well not exactly because if you are a human with atleast half of the IQ level of mine; you would know they don't allow tourists there. So it's a ground nearby."

"Oh, genius. Thanks for the information. But it's strange."

"What is?"

"You will see."

Whilst he confuses her once again, Riu cant find the time to interview any further as they have already reached.

They get down the motorcycle and Riu tells him that she will go ahead and get ready while he could just get in the building and get seated somewhere.

Without further ado, she reminds him to sit somewhere visible so that she could get him somewhere comfortable and the passes before the show.

In about an hour; it's thirty minutes to ten. Vidith scrolls his phone screen checking for mails right when he hears someone say; "Vidith!?"

Woah wait. This voice of a noughat is so very familiar to him. Immediately he looks up and stares right at his very wife looking at him with those cute eyes so very funnily surprised and also standing next to..Riu?

"I am sorry. You know him Tanya?" Riu asks with a puzzled look.

"I think I recognise my husband." Tanya says with a light laugh.

"WHAT?" Riu says hurriedly.

"Insane..! Roo, how do you know her?" Vidith asks as he smiles lovingly at his lawfully wedded wife.

"Didn't I tell you that I made some arrangements about my script through Instagram? With your very own phone? This is her." Riu laughs still not being able to believe it.

"Ahh, so you have been a very kind person Vee? She just told me about the whole big quest of yours. Crazy night huh?" Tanya asks mockingly.

"It's a long story girl." Vidith says with an exasperated look.

"And I thought you were busy taking care of your doctor appointments." Tanya says slyly.

"What? You still get treatment?" Riu interrupts.

"Sometimes. Anyways ladies, don't you have a show to nail? Lemme have my two favourite girls crashing the presentation. Go ahead." Vidith says gesturing them to go on.

"Ah? You have another favourite now? Besides, it's a feminist show. Not a concert, Vee." says Tanya as she hands over the passes to him.

"Oh I am his all time favourite. You have got competition mate." Riu says flirtatiously.

"Well well, that's exactly what I need right about now." Vidith says gesturing the ladies to make a move.

Dusting off the humor the ladies walk off while Vidith decides to take his seat.

Now, fifteen minutes later the show begins. Well having the privilege of sitting right up in the front Vidith could see Tanya right behind the curtain probably prepping Riu for the big talk.

A few minutes later, Riu comes out on the stage and takes a deep breath.

Before she could start, she looks at the person that matters the most in the room and smiles so wide knowing exactly what her best friend is thinking too.

'It just ended up just perfectly.'
